Digital Business | Entrepreneurship | Marketing

Introducing Sri Lanka’s first and only undergraduate programme with unique specialized pathways in Digital Business, Entrepreneurship and Marketing designed to produce graduates who will gather experience and fast track their career to excel in the new world of business.

Entry Requirements

Students must possess at least five passes in GCE O/L including a minimum C grade for Mathematics and English in local syllabus


Three passes in GCE A/L, with a minimum of 12 points in non-science subjects


Foundation Certificate in Higher Education from IIT


Other recognized equivalent qualification accepted by the University of Westminster

Course Content

In Year 1 you are introduced to business organisations, broader business environment, key management skills and competence including information gathering and analysis, accounting, economics, marketing, and organisational behavior.

In Year 2 you will be investigating and learning how businesses operate, looking at how people are managed, how you manage business operations and how managers make key decisions. Year 3 will enable you to apply critical and reflective approaches to exploring the challenges facing organisations at a strategic level. You will also develop your specialized area further. During the year you will complete a piece of independent research within your specialized subject area.

Year 3(industrial Placement)

A 12-month placement between 2nd and 4th years. Working with industry in a real-life situation is invaluable in giving you professional skills as well as raising your confidence and will help to prepare you for a future career. Furthermore, it helps you reflect on your theoretical knowledge and be more aware of how theories are been applied in practice. You also will be getting the advantage to engage with external professional practitioners.
