Description of Course
- From hotels to resorts, cruise ships to tour agency, the Bachelor in Hospitality and Tourism Management prepares you for a career in one of the most dynamic and fastest growing sectors, a harmonious blend between hospitality and tourism with the addition of specific business and management. Courses in management will allow you to understand key concepts and skills imperative to managing and supervising a business, while the hospitality and tourism components will provide you with valuable practical skills. Our curriculum strikes a balance between theory and practice, giving you a deep understanding to succeed in the hospitality and tourism fields, you will also develop a wide range of transferable skills which may be utilised in both managerial and entrepreneurial roles.
Entry Requirements
- You need to pass STPM/A-Level or equivalent with at least a C (2.00 CGPA) in two (2) subjects OR STAM with Jayyid OR Matriculation/Foundation with at least 2.00 CGPA OR MSU Foundation Certificate with at least 2.00 CGPA OR UEC with at least a B in five (5) subjects OR Diploma in a related field with at least 2.00 CGPA OR SAM scoring at least 65%-70% OR CPU scoring at least 80% OR any other qualifications recognized as equivalent.
- Bachelor (Hons) in Hospitality & Tourism Management (BHM) is a three-year-eight-month career-focused industry-developed programme of MSU’s School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA).
