Description of Course
Upon the completion of this diploma program the participants will be able to: a) Make evident of the knowledge of basic principles of environmental management relevant to middle level personnel in policy, research, development and management sectors which addresses issues pertaining to sustainable development goals of institutions. b) Demonstrate skill of analysing and acting on environmental issues in various sectors of the economy, society and the environment. c) Indicate environmental friendly attitudes, values and ethics relevant to workplace and family.
Entry Requirements
a) Passed G.C.E. (A/L) in 03 subjects not more than two attempts Sinhala/ Tamil/English
OR
b) Completed NVQ level 4
OR
c) Any other equivalent qualification acceptable to the Senate upon the recommendation of the Board of Studies
AND
A pass mark at the selection test of the Diploma Course in Environmental Management conducted by the relevant Department
