Description of Course
The aim of this programis to provide the profession with the most appropriate new design talent. This program combines creative skill with knowledge in computer technology to progress excellent communication skills in graphic design.
The Program Contents are Introduction to Graphic Designing, Type Setting & Color Separation, Adobe InDesign CS6, Adobe Photoshop CS6, CorelDraw x6 and Adobe Illustrator CS6.
You will be encouraged to develop your creative, artistic and critical skills within a critical design framework while gaining practice in design and expert practice. This course is ideal for students looking for a course that offers breadth as well as depth. If you have an innovative mind and a creative vision this is definitely the course for you.
Course is designed for few target groups such as; relevant undergraduates to provide practical aspects of using Graphics Design software packages, job seekers to enter into the job market as Graphic Designers and related, as a step in stone for school leavers to enter into higher studies in the field of multimedia.
The learning outcomes of the programme are as follows;
- Use a Personal Computer for Graphics Design and related purpose in windows environment.
- Create and manipulate graphics.
- Produce graphic designs for 2D and 3D applications.
- Create and manipulate multiple document layouts.
- Prepare the master copy ready for use.
