Description of Course
The LLB (Hons) Law is an internal British Law Degree awarded by Staffordshire University, UK. It is a full-time three-year degree programme identical to the LLB (Hons) Law programme offered on campus at Staffordshire University.
The degree is designed to prepare students for legal practice as well as a wide range of law related careers. A problem based approach to teaching and learning ensures a strong focus on real-world lawyering skills, independent study and legal research. The overall aim is to produce law graduates as change agents who will make a significant impact on the society while pursuing rewarding careers.
Entry Requirements
GCE Advanced Level with 2 passes with a Credit Pass for English at the GCE (Ordinary Level)
or
GCE Advanced Level (London, Cambridge or Edexel) with 2 passes
or
Successful completion of the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology Law Degree Foundation
or
Equivalent
Students with pending A/L results may apply. Those who wish to enter the legal practice in Sri Lanka require a Credit Pass in Sinhala/ Tamil at GCE (Ordinary Level) Examination.
